A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and lawmaker, Dan Amos, has expressed optimism about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
He believes the current government has already taken significant measures demonstrating Tinubu’s potential to bring greatness to Nigeria.
Amos, who represents the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency of Kaduna State at the National Assembly, encourages fellow Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu and support his efforts in revitalizing the nation.
“There’s hope for our dear nation under President Tinubu; the president has settled down well. Nigeria will be great again,” the federal lawmaker said on the sidelines of a meeting with PDP stakeholders from his constituency in Kafanchan.
He mentioned that the president’s appointment of the top military officer in the country has earned him gratitude from the average Southern Kaduna resident.
“The Chief of Defence Staff is one of us, and it shows that Mr President means well for Southern Kaduna people,” he said.
Meanwhile, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, celebrated former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on his 66th birthday.
In a post alongside a video shared via his X handle on Monday, Momodu said Jonathan is a veritable example of how a leader should conduct himself in and out of office.
The PDP chieftain said the former President is a jolly good man and does not bear grudges with anyone, adding that he is always nice to people regardless of political differences.
Momodu said he recently met Jonathan and Professor Ibrahim Gambari, ex-chief of Staff to former President Muhamamdu Buhari, at an event in Abuja.
He wrote: “Former PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN is a veritable example of how a Leader should conduct himself in and out of office by not bearing grudges against anyone.
